| August 27 2001 The second TOAW trial game will not be finished. As it was only a trial game this will not have any serious affect on rankings or anything else. There are some possibilities that RVA will be introduced to this game later in 2001, or maybe in early 2002. Time will show. On August 24, 2001, RVA was introduced to the game of Kremlin. FIQ was in Denmark for vacation, and RVA met with him, FRJ, PHJ, and BJS to play this fast and fun game. Read more about the games here. December 13 2000 After months of in-activity on our web site, it was decided to update it in connection with the 10-year anniversary of KOTWO on December 30 2000. August 28 2000 RVA is the newest member of KOTWO. RVA officially got his membership on August 24th 2000. July 31 2000 The TOAW trial game has finished with NATO victory. June 4 2000 The newly created List of Rankings for Empires In Arms and The Operational Art of War II: Elite Edition has been added to the Rankings section. As of right now, there are no results on these List of Rankings, but the formulas are more than ready to be put in use! May 20 2000 The Avalon Hill Game Company is back! The new owner's, Hasbro Interactive,
has contrary to rumors not closed Avalon Hill for good! Instead they have
taken some time to look at the different games they took ownership of when
buying Avalon Hill to determine which games should continue and which should
not. May 19 2000 It has just been discovered, that a List of Ranking result for one of our
members were incorrect. It was the Face-To-Face ranking in MBT for FRJ that was
wrong (9,17). This has immediately been changed to the correct result (9,58). April 7 2000 We have added the RAF section under Games as well as the RAF#01 section under
Games in Progress. March 20 2000 Added an e-mail address to the main page for interested parties to use - in case they would like to contact us. Also took the opportunity to update the Planned Events page. March 18th 2000 We have started an evaluation of a possible new game, which is called The Operational Art of War II. Read more about it on the Games page. March 17th 2000 We had some problems with the counter. Apparently Tripod - our provider - doesn't support the counter function. So no matter how many hit our pages, the counter was a devastating low "1". Didn't look good! (Then rather not have it at all). Another thing was that the Main page was called Home Page instead of KOTWO. A minor slip in the Quality Control (meaning: I didn't notice). Other than that it seems to work pretty good. March 14th 2000 WE ARE LIVE!!! March 12th 2000 The new look of our web site are coming along quite beautiful - if we may say so ourselves. Of course there will still be things we would like to improve, but in time we will iron all those wrinkles out! Right now we are just building the foundation of the web site, and work in some possibilities for expansion at a later time. With the chosen tool set, that shouldn't really be any problem! As something new, we are planning to have a 'scenarios' page where we in the future will offer some different scenarios to some of the games available for KOTWO's members. Some will be home-made scenarios, other will be picked up from publications either in The GENERAL or from the net. We hope you enjoy them anyway! February 14th, 2000 We are on our way! We have talked about re-designing the KOTWO web site for a long time, but neither the time nor the tools have been available for us to do anything about it... until now! As you will see soon, if you visited the KOTWO web site previously, we will change the lay-out of the web site quite a bit. Most of the changes will be graphical; the web site will still keep many of the pages and information as it has always done. But instead of the boring design we had implemented our first time around, we are certain that we will be more pleased with the look of the web site after this major change. August 2001 |
